We hope you enjoy the new signage on your travels through this unique part of Europe. So whether you're heading to Madrid or València, you really have no excuse of getting lost now. Our map team has been hard at work implementing these familiar green and red region signs across the peninsula to help guide drivers in the right direction and to assure them (and their GPS) that they are going the right way. Traffic signs are an essential part of keeping both drivers and pedestrians using the road safe and informed with valuable information such as where you are! In this update, the Iberia DLC will be receiving new road region signage. We hope you enjoy checking out this new part of the Iberia DLC! Read more about this update at one of our previously dedicated blogposts. While you were previously able to only drive around this zone on a nearby highway, with the addition of the settlement, we are also going to open up the closest highway exit so you can properly set out to explore this fresh piece of content. We have decided to take the time and finish this settlement, which is inspired by the city of Arganda del Rey and it will feature the company prefab of Construcciones Elcano, a new heavy machinery service depot that made its first appearance in the Austria rework project. You may have noticed while driving across the Iberia DLC that there is a well-designed unreachable area near Madrid. So, what do you think? Should we keep working on the custom city introductions? If so, let us know! However, in this update, this feature can now also be found in the Iberia DLC. These special cutscenes appear when a player selects a starting city when creating a new profile and, as you may know, they are currently available only for cities of Austria and the city of Hanover in Euro Truck Simulator 2. Thanks to the positive feedback that we have seen from the community, we are glad to let you know that we will further expand this feature in this update! Recently, we introduced a new experimental feature in ETS2 and ATS - the custom city introductions.
